Two-year-old Laurens Dream recorded her first career win this afternoon when scoring at Gosforth Park. The daughter of Advertise beat Clever Jack in a photo finish to take the seven furlong 'BetMGM: It's Showtime Nursery Handicap'. Given a patient ride she found an extra gear in the final furlong to collar the leader on the post. Laurens Dream was making her all weather debut having been runner up last time out at Leicester on heavy ground and fully deserved her victory after being placed in her last two outings. Billy Garritty was the successful jockey for owners Jack Turton and Lee Westwood. Laurens Dream is our sixth individual juvenile winner of 2024. |
