The Victoria Comet (Victoria) is by Lucky Speed out of the Jeremy mare Hatton Springs. She jumps well but doesn't have the speed to race and we are making her available for sale off the track.

Victoria stands at about 16hh. She is a very fine jumper and completely sound. She is a very nice prospect for eventing and a great project for someone to bring on.

Breeding

Victoria's sire, Lucky Speed, was the winner of 3 races including the German Derby at Hamburg and the American St Leger at Arlington in Course record time.

From few runners he is the sire of Top Speed, winner of a Point-to-Point in Ireland by 15 lengths and subsequently sold privately to leading owner of Henry de Bromhead.

Her dam Hatton Springs was a winner and placed four times over hurdles and placed four times on flat.

Hatton Springs is by leading National Hunt sire Jeremy, who has sired over 30 runners rated over 140. He is from family of Deep Impact. Her dam is by Derby winner and leading sire High Chaparral who is also the sire of Altior.

Her grand dam Grecian Glory is half sister to Grecian Dart - 142 rated hurdle winner.
