Yorkstone, a 2020 bay gelding by Mayson, descends from La Gessa, a winner with multiple offspring including Wordismybond and Poet's Lady. La Gessa's dam, En Grisaille, produced successful winners, while Hickleton Lady's lineage includes Angus Newz and Gran Canaria Queen. The family shows consistent racing success across generations.

Yorkstone was retired from racing in May 2026. He is now available for rehoming as a riding horse.
