It's been a busy morning on the rehoming front as two of our retired racehorses have found fabulous new homes.
Yorkstone won four races, including three victories for the Mick & David Easterby Racing Club. Retired last month he will be leaving training to become a riding horse for a former employee. He will stay local and enjoy a well earned retirement after a successful racing career.
Also rehomed today was Howsham. He's not made the frame in his races and having failed to beat a horse home in his last three starts he was retired after running at Wetherby yesterday. The good-looking son of Dream Ahead left the yard before lunch and has safely arrived at his new stable where he will be retrained for showjumping.
Howsham has arrived safely and is settling in at his new home.
