Friday evening: Tomlinson Racing pair at Wolverhampton

Wolverhampton stages an evening card under the floodlights on Friday where we run two horses in the colours of Tomlinson Racing.

Blueandtangerine was a winner at Beverley as a juvenile but has since dropped down the ratings to a mark of 50. She now falls into classified company for the first time and we're going to try a visor. The BetMGM Supports Safer Gambling Classified Stakes has been divided and our horse runs in the first division where she's unfortunately landed the outside draw. A contest confined to horses rated 0-50 she's at the top of the bracket but needs to recapture some of her old form at this lower level.

Tommo's Ginjaninja made an unusual career start last month. Tailed off in the early stages and running green the penny dropped a couple of furlongs out and he finished strongly to take second place on the line at odds of 28/1. He'll benefit from the experience and faces just six rivals in the novice race over an extended mile which looks a relatively weak race. Hot To Hot, trained by James Tate, looks to be the one to beat here.
