Lewis joined the stable in 2022. He isn't from a racing background and sat on a horse for the first time when he was 17 years old! Lewis originates from Barnsley and his family have a coal mining background!

Lewis made his debut in May 2023 when finishing third on Refuge at Hamilton Park and after just five rides he rode his first career winner on Refuge at Haydock Park.

Lewis's biggest win to date came aboard Diligent Resdev in the 2024 Ayr Bronze Cup.

Lewis has ridden 11 winners for Mick & David Easterby.
