Bound for the Cheviot Hills: Striking Soldier's Call yearling rehomed

A beautiful filly deemed to small to race has been rehomed on a farm in the stunning Cheviot Hills.

Standing at just 14.1hh, the daughter of Soldier's Call was bred here but hadn't grown sufficiently to be trained for racing.

Advertised through our rehome programme she caught the eye of Ellen Wood who has a farm in Northumberland.

Ellen rehomed ex-racehorse Sharp Call earlier this year and has been so impressed with her filly that she was keen to take on another thoroughbred by the same sire.

The staff here were delighted to find the filly a five-star home for life where she will be given time to grow before enjoying life as a riding horse.
