We head back to Scotland on Thursday as Test Run and You Mystify Me are in action at Hamilton Park.

Spirit Of Acklam was a winner in South Lanarkshire on Saturday and we will be hoping for more success as Billy Garritty takes our two rides.

You Mystify Me will be aiming to make amends in the Wellman Cars Hamilton Handicap after trailing in last of ten at Musselburgh on her most recent appearance. Eased two pounds in the weights she sticks to the minimum distance where hat-trick seeking Classy Clarets will take some beating. Veteran Henery Hawk is another looking poised to win again soon.

Test Run has been off the track for 305 days, his sole appearance coming when fourth in a decent Doncaster maiden last September. Test Run will line up for the Alex McWilliams Memorial Celebrations Restricted Novice Stakes over an extended mile and carries the red and white colours of owner Brian Padgett. The race has since thrown up four individual winners and our son of Time Test has it all to do against the 86-rated My Mate Roger who has finished runner up in all of his four outings to date and sets the standard.
We run Trucial Pearl at Thirsk in the Don't Miss Summer Family Days @Thirskraces Classified Stakes over a mile. She lost her maiden tag last time out and drops into classified company where she gets a useful eight pound allowance as a three-year-old. Race conditions mean that horses run off level weights, other than the weight-for-age allowance, so rated 49 she is at an advantage against lower rated rivals. Langholm and Park Lane Penny may be the others to watch here.
