Monday sees flat action at Wetherby and Windsor.
Alpha Magic takes the long journey south to Berkshire where he'll be ridden by Cieren Fallon in the six furlong
Fitzdares Sprint Series Qualifier Handicap
at Windsor. Returning from a 282 day break when seen at Pontefract in April he's finished fourth and eighth in his two runs this term and he'll look to recapture his form which has seen him score at Hamilton last year and also Thirsk on his debut back in 2024.
There's afternoon action at Wetherby where Invaluable Eye has his second outing. He finished fifth on his debut at Redcar last month but was well held, 17 lengths behind the winner who has been handed a BHA rating of 94, and we hope he'll come on for the experience.
Tommo's Ginjaninja and Howsham filled the last two places at York last month and drop two classes after finding Class 4 company too hot on the Knavesmire. They line up for the
Heineken 0.0 Handicap
, dropping back from a mile and a half to a mile. Howsham has since raced at Doncaster and finished seventh of seven in first time cheekpieces which are replaced by a visor this time.
