We have three runners today with turf and all weather action in store.
Liverpool Star will be aiming to record his second career victory after breaking his duck last month. Lewis Chalkley has been in fine form at takes the ride in the
Morley Glass And Glazing Supports The YCC Handicap
at Pontefract. The three-year-old son of Acclamation will wear first time cheekpieces and was vying for favouritism this morning.
Evening action at Newcastle sees Star Noir contest the
Penny Bakery Handicap
where he was the morning favourite. Joanna Mason takes the ride. Star Noir ran too freely at Beverley last time and he drops in grade.
What What What will also be ridden by Joanna and he returns to the track where he was a course and distance winner last year. A winner at Southwell in February he was disappointing last time when trailing in last of seven back at Southwell and he'll be aiming to make amends this evening. Auntie Jo is the race favourite on the back of a very good second placed effort at Redcar last time out.
