Named in honour of the legendary racing presenter and commentator, the 'Have A Happy Retirement Derek Thompson EBF Restricted Maiden Fillies' Stakes' has been divided and we have a runner in each half of the race.
Division One sees Resdev Kisses in action. The filly has raced once when last at Hamilton in June and we will look for improvement on the artificial surface. In Division Two we hand a debut to the 50 Club's Trucial Pearl. |
| Storm Call has her fourth race since joining us from Karl Burke. She lines up for the 'Highbet Wimbledon Sports Welcome Offer Handicap', having been placed in her only outing on an all weather surface when runner up at this track on her debut last year. Joanna Mason takes the ride. |
| Our final runner is Endless Whisper who steps up to two miles in the 'Highbet Acca Odds Boost Handicap'. She has been runner up in her last two races and staying on well at the finish she's indicated that a longer race will suit. She's lightly raced and open to improvement. Endless Whisper was bought at Tattersalls Mares Sale in 2023, deemed surplus to Godolphin's needs, and she certainly has the ability to become a winner. |
