It's been a great year for rehoming with many horses finding forever homes after retiring from the track. Two of our favourites were Sheriff Call and Rory, who have gone to live with Vicki in Buckinghamshire. Here they are wearing tinsel to celebrate the festive season. |

Another horse finding a home in the south was dual winner Roll It In Glitter (Gustav) who went to live with Nicola in Essex.
"I've had him nearly four months now and he is settling in to his new life really well & enjoying hacking out," said Nicola who now owns Gustav. "He really is a lovely boy." |

Two-year-old homebred Capla Daviekins was also rehomed in 2024 and Deborah sent in this photo with a lovely sky! 'Dave' now lives near Edinburgh and is one of several of our horses to retire north of the border this year. "He's the best boy ever!" said Deborah on Christmas Day. "Such a credit to you guys!" |

Heading in the opposite direction in 2024 was Dave's mum, Capla Lass. She was rehomed to a sheep farm near Folkestone where she'll enjoy her retirement. Capla Lass raced on the flat and also stood as a broodmare and is proving to be a brilliant riding horse for her owner Laura Jayne. |

Point Louise retired in 2024 and very quickly found a new home. The three time winner is enjoying retirement in Derbyshire and we love this picture of her box decorated with Christmas lights. Point Louise is due to be covered next year and we look forward to following her and hopefully seeing her first foal in 2026. |

Ashkhabad was rehomed earlier this year and Rachel sent in these pictures or her mare wearing a tinsel garland. Ashkhabad lives in Cleveland and the daughter of Harzand enjoys scenic hacks on the northern edge of the North York Moors. In the photo you can see Roseberry Topping in the distance. Ashkhabad was bred in Ireland, then lived as a yearling in Germany before coming to us via Newmarket Sales. She is a well travelled girl but has now settled beautifully into a quieter lifestyle. |
