A homebred daughter of multiple winner Dutch Gold, Golden Guilder was bred by daughters Susan and Cherry. She made her debut at Beverley in May 1985. The following year she won the 'Robin Pulford 3yo Handicap' at Beverley and the 'Daresbury Handicap' at Haydock. She raced 31 times and later stood as a broodmare after retiring from the track.
