Special Mix made his debut at Wetherby in December 2011. He ran on the flat and over jumps. His sole win came in the 'Go Racing In Yorkshire Future Stars Apprentice Handicap' in May 2013 at Pontefract. Special Mix was sold at Tattersalls Autumn Sales in 2013 to Michelle Smith for £800 to be trained by Martin Smith.
