Needin' U recorded her first career success this afternoon by taking the National Racehorse Week Nursery Handicap under Billy Garritty.

The daughter of Land Force had run well over course and distance on her penultimate start in a selling race that has since thrown up winners.

Making her handicap debut today the John Blackburn-owned filly was an easy winner, beating the 5/2 joint favourite Lauralynn by two and a half lengths.
