Rehoming

Home-bred Miss Chilli was born back in 2017 and she ran four times on the flat. Despite being a trier she didn't have the speed to win a race and was rehomed in 2020.

Now nine-years-old she is in her prime and is enjoying a second career eventing.

Miss Chilli is owned by Mandy Sykes and ridden by Mandy's daughter Hannah.

"I thought I'd share a few pics from Oatridge BE of Miss Chilli and my daughter Hannah," says Mandy. "Hannah finally got their 1st BE top 10 placing! We're all very happy although dressage is still very much work in progress. We are sticking to GO BE for now as think judges expectations are slightly lower at that!"
"She absolutely loves jumping but hates the dressage which is the problem but we are working hard on it and hope it comes eventually. She's a totally different colour even since we got her, she's lightened unfortunately but it was always going to happen once she’d gone grey although she's still got some dapples but the poo stains are starting to show!"
"Miss Chilli gets a lot of adoring comments from everyone around here!"
