Flying filly Bear Lee heads to York on Friday in a bid to follow up her Musselburgh victory.

The two-year-old daughter of Kodi Bear left her debut form behind last time when scoring in Scotland and she'll again be ridden by Billy Garritty.

Bear Lee will be taking a step up to Class 2 company as she tackles the six furling Irish Thoroughbred Marketing EBF Fillies' Novice Stakes. The only previous winner in the field, she will have to concede a four pound penalty all round.

Bear Lee will be joined in the race by Roman Crystal. The daughter of Shaman will have her third racecourse outing after finishing midfield at Thirsk last time, and will be taking a big step up in class from Class 5 company.
