Three debutants set for Ayr on Monday

The EBF Stallions Restricted Novice Stakes at Ayr on Monday will see Mick and David Easterby represented by three newcomers to the track.

The seven furlong contest, restricted to horses in Bands C and D, will mark the debuts of geldings The Resdev Rocket (ridden by Joanna Mason), Sara's Silver Girl (Billy Garritty) and Threeoclockflyer (Paul Mulrennan).

Sara's Silver Girl represents owner Andre Fordham. Sired by Kameko she is the first foal of winning mare Rishes Bar, who was also fourth in the Group 3 Oh So Sharp Stakes.

Threeoclockflyer runs in the colours of Sangwin Bloodstock. A Showcasing half-brother to winners Spirit Of Athene and Hot Cash, he's out of a four time winning mare whose victories include the Group 3 Princess Royal Muhaarar Stakes in 2019.

Threeoclockflyer and Sara's Silver Girl were both purchased as yearlings from the October Yearling Sale in 2025.

The Resdev Rocket


The Resdev Rocket is by Space Traveller out of unraced mare Lahabah. He's a half-brother to winners Mearall - who won as a juvenile and was third the Champion 2yo Trophy - and to Love Lies who was a dual winner as a three-year-old. He was a purchase from Goffs Premier Yearling Sale at the end of last year.

We look forward to seeing how the horses go and they'll be joined on the wagon by So Grateful who runs in the six furlong handicap at 17.00. He's an old hand and will show them the way!
