Miss Brazen heads to Beverley on Tuesday afternoon for the Coachman Caravans Classic Handicap. A course and distance winner in 2024, she's been in good form this season having already won at Nottingham. Miss Brazen has a good strike rate, with five wins from 33 starts, and has excuses last time after being slowly away when beaten three and a half lengths by Right And Exact at Musselburgh. She gets along well with seven pound claimer Lewis Chalkley who was successful aboard the daughter of Brazen Beau at Nottingham and rides again this evening.

The danger looks to be Fierce who went down by just three quarters of a length last time at Carlisle, and he likes a stiff finish having previously won at Pontefract. Now rated 69 Fierce is nine pounds below his last winning mark which was achieved last August at Wolverhampton.

We send three horses to Thirsk's afternoon meeting.

First up is Bravo Hotel in the PD Hook Gallop Handicap. He was due to run at York but taken out due to the going. He's having his first run since last October, which finished his two year old season having been placed third four times from his five races.

Le Beau Garcon is a half-brother to Bravo Hotel and seeks his fifth career victory in the Download The QuinnBet App Handicap. He last won at Aur in May 2025 and last time was beaten six and three quarter lengths by Winchurch at Catterick. He's a better horse on fast ground.

Knicks is on a long losing run and bids for his first win since 2024 in the Next Meeting Wednesday 1st July - Book Now Handicap. Joanna Mason was the last jockey to win aboard the son of Invincible Spirit and she takes over after he went close at Pontefract under Lewis Chalkley, beaten a neck into third place in a blanket finish behind Thornaby Pearl.
