Liverpool Star wins at Ripon for owner Tim Cottier

Liverpool Star recorded his first career victory this afternoon when he took the Watch Sky Sports Racing In HD Handicap at Ripon.

Billy Garritty was the winning rider as the son of Acclamation beat Siouxpersonic by a head at odds of 6/1. Liverpool Star was the first winner we have trained in the colours of Tim Cottier Racing.

Liverpool Star joined us from Goffs Premier Yearling Sale at Doncaster in 2024. A consistent sort, he had previously been placed four times from ten starts and went close to losing his maiden tag as a juvenile when beaten a head at Newcastle in December. Liverpool Star is ridden at home by Parthena, who also led up today and made sure that he was turned out beautifully.
