Rehoming

It's been a busy weekend on the rehoming front.

This morning August Spring (Gustav) had a last look around the yard and said goodbye to his friends before heading to Ayrshire where he'll be retrained for a new career by new owner Rhona. Gustav raced on the flat and also in a National Hunt Flat Race and left the yard at 11 o'clock this morning on the long journey to Scotland. A calm, kind and gentle giant standing at 16.3hh he's been a yard favourite here and we look forward to following his career.

Davenport Lass, a three-year-old filly by Coulsty, also departed this morning. She'd raced just once but didn't have the speed to be a winner and will enjoy her retirement in Cumbria.

On Saturday morning we rehomed a two-year-old gelding by Belardo who headed to the Pennines near Huddersfield. He'll be turned out to grow and come back in next year to begin his retraining for eventing.

Jenna sent us this lovely video of her two-year-old, who will be known as Artemis, enjoying time out in the lovely scenery of West Yorkshire.
