Rehoming

Last year we rehomed two-year-old filly called Edens Choice. She'd raced three times on the flat but didn't have the speed to be a winner and found her forever home with Ashleigh in South Yorkshire. Also living at the yard are our former racehorses Copper Burn and Frankyboy. However, it was Dusty the miniature Shetland that she was immediately drawn to and became her best pal.

Ashleigh sent us an update today and the three-year-old filly is thriving off the track.

"Edens Choice is doing amazing," says Ashleigh. "She's had some time out being pampered and also loves rolling in mud. She's now back in work taking everything her stride and learning to be ridden and long reined down the field paths on her own being a big brave girl."

"Now the weather is better I will be hacking her out and exploring the hacking routes building her muscle back up, she also being used for our apprentices leaning new skills and getting evidence for the portfolio which she has been a little superstar for them. She has been entered in her first ROR show in April and to get her out and used to competing she'll be joined by her old pal Frankyboy."

"She really is a fabulous girl and everyone loves her. I can't go past anyone on the yard without her stopping and wanting cuddles and kisses."

"I will let you know how she gets on, overall she's been such a little star for me I love her more and more each day and feel lucky to have her."
