Rehoming

We said a bittersweet goodbye today to a lovely three-year-old gelding as Scotty left the yard for a new beginning in Somerset.

Bred at Forbes Arms Stud near Aberdeen, the three-year-old son of the late stallion Sixties Icon joined us earlier this year. Though it became clear he wouldn't pursue a racing career, we were able to find him a wonderful new role near Bridgwater — one filled with promise and kind companionship. His rehome means that he is now some 400 miles away from where he began the summer!

In just a few months, Scotty became a true yard favourite. His gentle nature and quiet charm won many hearts, and while we'll miss him dearly, we know he’s heading to a home where he’ll be cherished and well cared for.

In keeping with his new home he will be known as Squire which is short for his new name, SquireOfTheCourt.
