Alex Robinson messaged us today with news of Frankyboy, a horse we rehomed out of racing earlier this year. Frankyboy is a full brother to our top-rated flat horse, Sondad, but the racecourse wasn't for him.
"Today myself and Frankie did our very first dressage test," says Alex. "Not only did he excel and scored a whopping 70.2% and we won!"
"Honestly he's been a super star today."
"I did own a thoroughbred before Frankie, so knew what the character was like (although he was chestnut and nut job but a loveable rogue) we never really got to do anything like this."
"Today Frankie just cracked on with his job, without hesitation, enjoyed himself and made me such a proud horse dad!"
"Who knows next year could be prelim or even novice! Frankie will be taking most of the summer off now, and reduced to hacking over the winter once a week. Ready to bring back to full work next next year."
