Copper Mountain was retired from racing earlier this year and is now enjoying her retirement with Anne down in Essex.
On the track the homebred daughter of Sir Percy was a five-time winner and had a fantastic attitude to life. She was always going to be a lovely horse to own after racing we were delighted to hear from Anne today with news of our old friend.
"We're worn out on the way home from her first hack out in company," says Anne. "She was so good but didn't know where to look first! She is very good with cars, vans, motorbikes, cyclists and a bridge over a dual carriageway! She's seen really big loads go past when we've been in the ménage area she doesn't seem bothered. She’s very laid back."
"I'm hoping to get her to her first showing show in September and some basic flatwork sessions as soon as possible."
