Our very own Olivia Rogers is set to ride in the 2025 running of Graham Lee Stable Staff Stakes at Thirsk in which she will ride veteran Ring Of Gold.
This is what Liv has to say.
"I am taking part in the 'Graham Lee Fund Stable Staff Stakes' Charity Race at Thirsk on Friday 25th July. This race is raising funds for the Injured Jockey's Fund aiding Graham Lee and his family following his career ending accident in November 2023."
"I would like to ask you to sponsor me to help raise funds to reach and surpass my target and thank everyone involved for their support in helping me take part in the race."
"I've worked in racing since being 16, after falling into the job through friendship. I've been riding longer than I've been walking and I have been around horses my whole life. I've worked for the Coward family for the last two years and I'm currently riding for Mick and David Easterby just down the road for the summer season."
"I'm taking part in this race as it's something I've always been greatly interested in and it’s for such a good cause."
