Hoof's So Lucky: Ex-racehorse update

We were delighted to hear from Abbie Naughton with pictures of our old friend Hoof's So Lucky.

Hoof's So Lucky raced for us and was retired in 2014 after finishing last at Southwell.

Hoof's So Lucky went on to the paddocks and had two foals, Wearraah (by Heeraat) who ran for Alan Brown and John Wainwright and Hoofs Happy Now (by Outstrip) who was trained here. Hoofs Happy Now was placed for the Laura Mason Syndicate before herself finding a new career off the track.

She then went on to play polo before retiring.

Hoof's So Lucky is now owned by Abbie Naughton and she's enjoying life as a happy hacker.

"I've never connected with a horse like I have with her. She's very special," says Abbie. "I'll never sell her and she has a home for life".

We wish Abbie and Hoof's So Lucky many happy years together.
