Notes
August Spring (Gustav) is a big strong four-year-old bay gelding by Gustav Klimt. He has raced four times, once in a National Hunt Flat Race and three times on the flat.

Standing at 16.3hh, Gustav is a very good jumper and a big, fine, sensible horse. He just wasn't a racehorse!

"He used to be my favourite ride. A very nice and calm horse," says his former work-rider Rye.

Gustav was rehomed in April 2026 and will enjoy his retirement in Ayrshire.
